Sino Canada High School (SCHS) is inviting teachers with BC certification to indicate interest in teaching at the school
Conditions of Employment
• Return airfare from Vancouver to Shanghai (or point of hire)
• Furnished apartments near the school (About $200 per month plus metered utilities)
• School pays for visas, healthcare with a 12 month International Healthcare Plan
• Cell phone provided - use paid by teachers
• Internet connection provided in apartments
• Annual salary beginning at $46,000 CAD for 2011-2012 school year
• Candidates must qualify for BC teacher certification.
SCHS commenced operation in September 2003. The school offers Chinese graduation as well as BC Graduation to Chinese and International students. Sino Canada High School is fully certified by the British Columbia Ministry of Education. The school is located about an hour and a half from Shanghai. This lakeside boarding school for Chinese and international students is located about halfway between Shanghai and Suzhou.
In 2011-2012 the school population is expected to be approximately
1500 students with 1000 in the BC Program and 500 in the ESL program.
